I got to meet a lot of new people, see some old friends and colleagues, and attend some excellent presentations, most of which I’ve shared my notes on here. I got to hang out with Jen Beech at the Newcomer’s Station, and (very briefly — I had to run to set up my presentation) introduced myself to Julie Lindquist. Plus, after Mark Bauerlein’s foolish and petty sniping, the estimable John Schilb called him “lazy and paranoid” — what fun! [...] [...] That pretty much does it for my notes on this year’s 4Cs.
