I got to hang out with Jen Beech at the Newcomer&#8217;s Station, and (very briefly &#8212; I had to run to set up my presentation) introduced myself to Julie Lindquist. Plus, after Mark Bauerlein&#8217;s foolish and petty sniping, the estimable John Schilb called him &#8220;lazy and paranoid&#8221; &#8212; what fun! [...]</description>
