		<description>As I'm getting more involved in local politics, I see the same thing happening at that level. You can read my blog if you want to know more about it, and I hope I don't get this way, but people seem unwilling to speak unpleasantries and own up to them. Forthrightness is the key and it's hard to say whether anyone with the ambition of those running for president have that quality, because it will alienate people they hope to snooker. Oh, if only we could get another George Washington. For all his flaws, he didn't want power, but he wielded it well enough. Can you imagine a contemporary politician who would not only have to be talked into running, really talked into running, but having to be talked into running for re-election?</description>
