		<description>Perhaps the dissertation wouldn't have worked with socioeconomic, but as teachers many of us have no experience with the difference SES can make in our classes.  Then when the students from various groups show up, we don't know what to do with them.

I think that is why there is still work being done.

Just this morning at Segundo Dining Hall I ran into a grad student who was having difficulty reaching students from a particular part of town.  He knew he wasn't reaching them, but he didn't have any ideas for how to reach them.</description>

		<description>I would be very much interested in hearing what you are developing--I've always felt that you, in your writing, are attempting to push composition into investigating a new area which needs to be pulled into the conversation and examined--especially now, when the economy is driving so much of our lives, political, professional and personal.</description>
